Guards Armor and Lorried Infantry update,

 Think i am finally done with my Brits minus adding few more models, i am thinking of adding another motor rifle platoon,4 more Sextons and some more armored cars.but i think for now until i find a deal on the models they are finished.
 So here is what i got to use for my Market Garden British.I usually run the list as a guards unit.
 I can build two mabe three companies,but it is mainly Lorried rifles and Armor. I really like to run theese as a combined Arms regiment or company.So they are usually paired as a armor and Lorried platoons.But overall i am glad that i went ahead and built this force. It really helped me out scoring a OP retangular based Ifantry company and the craptacular Open fire Shermans especially on the fireflies as i run 2 per squad with me having 3 squads for the company.
  One other thing to it also works well allied or against my other forces in my collection.Usa Glider rifles, PAras and My German FJs .

i received this as a Holiday gift. i have not gotten around to painting them yet.but i will eventually.
 The main purpose of this article is the content and piks, not much on the web for the OP UBX19.
  So what i did was removed the d day style troops and added some PP flamethrower teams.also i had previously owned this set so added the Canadians to the new Compan

y set.i hope this helps someone with the contents of the set. Overall experience of the models for me was good again. also this was also my first company set i bought when i started playing.

Woodland scenics review and build.

My wife got me this set for xmas this year.She had seen me eyeballing it for awhile now at are local hobby lobby. But i was always sceptical about it.because of the foliage looked like it would seperate very easily.But i used a combo of superglue,the watered down white skool glue and the alot of cheap hairspray(my go to also for a cheap sealent).Over all i was quite pleased i think that i will be buying a few more of theese setup,Also one of the kewl things that i did was trim them up and made some hedgerows too.Here is few piks of them in the building stages.

BF VS OG and PP 15mm WW2 LW Americans Engineers.

I have been getting the occasional question about how OG and BF and PP  all scale up and match up. So i decieded to go ahead and post some piks of  models that i wwll be using for my Ammo pioneers for my 10th mountain division.The BF Engineers are from a BF UBX19 Set. I got lucky and got it and some more models as Xmas gifts from my Wife and Family.

Belated updates,Lite 105 Battery

I have been busy and the Blog has been neglected,Also my camera took a dump on me.So here is few updated piks of some WIPs.

Staff team,A friend of mine suggested the use of Ammo crates as a alternate instead of using the table.He was a Arty crewman and he said that is what they used most of the time.

I am going to be mainly using theese for my Glider Infantry company.Instead of me using them for my 10th Mountain troops,because BF took them out of the list for the offical briefing.also they contain  the op American arty crew blister sculpts.

I have recentty been on a op bf sculpt kick. Even though the models have more flash.In my opion some of theese are some of the best BF models and are my fav to collect.Especially someof the usa rifle and PAras.

Here is whut ive been up to this Summer.

Most of this sumer i have been building terrain out in the GArage of Doom.The first project was that completed roughly around 10 ft of Bocage.So that if i want i can fill our table for bocage battles.MAde alot more roads and Hills.
  The big thing for me for awhile is how i wanted to build a Mountain table.Now that i have enough Styro foam pieces,I can build my heart out.The foam came from a disassembled restuarant walk in cooler walls.I have pieces that reso large that we a building a replica MG bunker full size and a raft in the shape of a Giant Surf Board for next year so we try some river surfing on the river across the street at the park from my house.
 So here is a few piks of what the current state of the mountain terrain.So far i kinda like it. On one of the big pieces will be eventually turned into a Airfield on a small mountain top. I just need to pik up a few pieces,Quansa huts,Sweet brand Airfield strips and a watch tower,Possibily some oil tanks if i can find in scale.
  So now here is my next idea for sculpting another hill. Maybe a large center piece or corner?
